Sapphire 18ct Gold Harpy - Gustav Manz - Art Nouveau Rare Antique Ring

Gustav Manz was a legend and one of the greatest goldsmiths and jewellery artists. His jewellry pieces are extremely rare and sought after by collectors across the world.
His name may not be well known among the general public, because his jewelry (true works of art) usually carried the retailer's distinctive hallmark. But, no doubt about it, Gustav Manz's (1865-1946) reputation was legendary.
The brilliant designer made pieces for famous jewellery houses, such as Tiffany & Co, Cartier and many other such important players.
A German master goldsmith shining in the jewellery world for decades, from the Belle Epoque to the Great Depression. His iconic designs often representing beautifully carved Egyptian motives (Pharaoh, Eye of Horus, etc), Roman and Greek mythology (goddess Diana / Artemis, Medusa, Atlas etc) as well as animals and mythological creatures like the Mermaid.
